alright, so while i thought up some ideas for plots i want to see what you as the members would like to see as the overall plot here at WOO. so put on your thinking caps and post whatever comes to mind! i am not the best with plot ideas, so anything is welcomed. don't worry, no one will laugh or anything. at least, you know i won't. xD the only thing i ask is that the plot is all inclusive and broad. <3 think away!

Hmmm. How much do you plan on having the staff being involved in the plot, through stuff like encounters orchestrated by staff? And, since this place is non-canonical, does that mean none of the events described in the mortal instruments have occurred? Like none of the stuff with Valentine or the Circle?

Perhaps if, your not going to follow a similar idea of the actual books maybe an idea for an overall plot could be an evil demon (or whatever) is on the loose and is trying to literally raise hell?
and for sub plots it could be trying to get all the downworlders together and the shadow hunters and stop them?

That's not a bad idea. Though, if subplots involve rallying downworlders, perhaps downworlders should be available for play. XD I've got some race info I wrote up for another site I RP on, and I'd be more than willing to share, if it'd expedite the process.  |

oh i like this idea! i can see a sort of opposite plot, one unlike the books because the roles have reversed. if we were to do that, downworlders would get more of a play, but we wouldn't be cutting out any species for real. i like lily's idea of the subplots that would become available through it. one of the greater demons ... maybe abbadon? i was thinking this, despite being noncanon, was in the future. the mortal instruments plot had happened many many years ago- maybe abbadon was mad and plotting this whole time?

Is Abaddon high enough on the demon power scale to be concerned with plotting? He was summoned easily enough, after all. Maybe an even stronger demon takes advantage of the fact that Abaddon is angry and recruits him, so to speak?

I like the idea so far. I think Natalya has a good idea to. Perhaps a stronger demon could persuade Abaddon to help him.

alright, so i like that idea. abbadon was summoned easily ... so, if he recruited a demon high up on the scale, what demon should we use? we could either make one up for the sake of the rpg, or use one found in many stories.

We could do one of the seven ruling demons. Like the one's with the corresponding sins. They're the highest demons, and would be good to start off a series like plot. A list of the seven demons can be found here! Just a thought (: |

oh cool! that sounds like an awesome Idea! If you wanted to take the plot any further I'm sure getting rid of one of the demons (thats causing the problems) will spark at least some conflict from it's brothers. But thats just a thought, maybe their all up to something and it's the shadow hunters job to send them back to hell?

I like that! There could even be division among the ruling demons. Would they be member controlled or staff controlled, though? I ask because if member controlled, forethought beyond this point is moot, because it could go any which way, which would be awesome. XD

Hmm well I think if its going to be member controlled, you would have to be very selective of who gets it. You would want someone who is active, but also someone who is a good writer. Nothing worse than the main villain who writes extremely short posts. O.o

SQUEE. awesome idea! okay, so. the way i am thinking it will play it will be that problems are beginning to rise on the world of the nephilim. maybe their race is beginning to get picked off, some may disappear and some may be found dead. the problem has not become an epidemic of sorts yet, but they are jumping on finding who's doing it. the seven ruling demons are at the heart of the trouble, and are the ones ordering the deaths through abbadon. when abbadon is caught, they think they're good- even though their far from it. conflict reaches a peak very suddenly, and shit hits the fan. little do they know, the seven ruling demons have split down the middle. there are ones that want to rule and make shadowhunters like slaves, low on the food chain. and there are ones that want them dead entirely. so it's a matter of the nephilim figuring this out, and then attacking respectively.
yes, the demons will be played by members- but there will be a special application process to make sure they will stay active. as a key part to the plot, they kind of have to ... so imma get working on that process now! C: love your ideas guys!
