Pernilla Montague

In need of two roommates (gender, species, orientation: not relevant)

A "spacious," 3-bed, 2-bath apartment with all the "hip" amenities. 1970s kitchen complete with floral backsplash and yellow cabinets. The rustic white hardwood flooring expanses from the kitchen boundary to the hallway and throughout the entire living room! The bedrooms have lush beige shag, continuing the retro feel of this exquisite apartment. The bathroom and kitchen floors are complete with black and white tile, as is custom. Did I mention the sky-blue bathroom? Tub, toilet, sink, all blue!!

Thankfully Pernilla has a reasonably wealthy father. And with her impeccable taste (no longer sarcasm, folks), she's managed to make the place look urban-retro-chic. Granted, it's still a pretty lousy apartment, but all the hipsters would love it. It's completely livable and actually quite fun. The outdated colors on the wall make it unique, and as they say, history always repeats itself! So it's almost back in style. Did I mention it's on the second-to-top floor? The elevator doesn't always act accordingly. It's a trek, but everyone needs their exercise anyway!

Damion Alvarado

This four bedroom, two bath, New York loft apartment has a bit of the modern feel, which is something Damion has had to adapt to over the years. The large windows offer a stunning view of the Empire State building along with the surrounding lights. Of course, the windows remain closed during the daylight hours. The hard wood floors that spread throughout the whole house and open spaces provide a perfect place to hold parties; and this building has seen several over the years.
