eleanor marie nightshade is the daughter of a very controversial couple in the shadowhunter world. she was born in idris, but moved to new york when she was very young. her parents were put in charge of the institute, and she has lived there ever since. of course, this isn't to say the lot of them lived there the entire time. when eleanor was thirteen, she received a blow that she has yet to recover from. her father, the skilled ben nightshade, disappeared. there was no reason to believe foul play was involved, and it seemed increasingly likely that he left of his own accord.
she had found out when she returned home one day, her mother a scattered mess. her mother had told her to keep her heart her own, and told her that love was a sick folly. so eleanor never did. bridget, on the other hand, became more reserved, less focused on family and more on getting her jobs done. she was running the institute alone now, and was busier than ever. bridget had changed her name back to bridget blackcreek, trying to rid herself of her husband's memory.
okay, so. eleanor is afraid of getting too close to people, and in fact she downright refuses it. she is different that her reserved and wishy-washy mother, and she kept her father's last name. she is a loud-mouthed girl with opinions she always feels the need to voice. she has a hardened personality, and she proves herself to be a reckless badass most times. having inherited her the skill that made her father famous, she is well on her way to becoming an excellent shadowhunter. in the meantime, though, she needs everything. friends, enemies, and loves. i have a want ad for her final- but everything in between is acceptable. plot her up! <3

i think that eleanor would respect lochlin's bold personality and her passionate/emotional actions. she would be inclined to ally herself with lochlin simply to piss off the shadowhunters at the institute, to break the rules. i think that eleanor would genuinely get along with lochlin, although due to her trust issue, she would keep herself at a certain distance to appease her twisted logic. i could see them hitting up taki's together every so often. Hmm, well their bound to have met at some point in their lives, considering they both reside in the institute ( and Lily's lived their since she was fifteen). I think that Lily would admire Eleanors skills as a shadow hunter but be a bit timid of her, considering that she's a 'reckless bad ass'. All in all I think they should be friends or at least acquaintances, helping each other out whenever they need to. |

yesss. i agree- i can see them getting along though not growing on the line of best friends. they will definitely have each others backs, and while lily admires eleanor for her skill, eleanor would admire lily back for her ability to be more conservative her her words and opinions. mutual respect between these two, i think- as well as being friends. Phlox && Eleanor
So... I kind of already went ahead and posted in one of your threads but I was thinking that Phlox could definitely have some kind of attraction for Eleanor (I know he won't be her final but this could be fun anyway). Even if it never becomes something serious--their personalities definitely seem like they could mingle and clash at the same time. Bot of them are bold and don't seem like they'd easily step down but I think it could make them enticing to one another and want to get to know more, even if they won't admit to it.
I could see them becoming close even if it's not a conventional friendship and since they're going to end up living in the same institute they'd at least know each other slightly! Feel free to bounce ideas back or just be like 'No this is terribad' lol

actually, i agree. xD i was kind of thinking of abandoning the want ad final for eleanor, seeing as no one seems to be taking it. so we could try these two out- and see how it goes? i agree, i can see them being pretty close- both reckless and adventurous, but also with flaws like everyone else. i can kind of see them as the two who have late night conversations about the most random stuff, neither of them thinking its weird. just normal. xD so yeah!

D'aw you don't need to get rid of your want ad, someone might still take it up some day. I don't mind either way, after all things are just starting off. I'm glad you like the idea, though. I think there could definitely be some fun from it. Don't need to ask how we should start since it's already going but I felt like I should reply here again to not be rude haha. Since that's decided I shall vanish to go reply to that and be on our merry, dysfunctional way~
