there are many halls mazing through the institute, and only those who have walked there a number of times would know which one takes them where. don't worry, i'm sure you'll get the hang of it ..

even shadowhunters need to eat, so the kitchen is always open, though each must cook for themselves. some's food may be better than others, of course. let us not mention this aloud.

the institute can house many shadowhunters, though more often than not it doesn't have to. the bedrooms are lined up down halls and are plain at the start. feel free to decorate, though, if you plan to stay awhile.

maladies and wounds can be treated here with special runes and things that can take care of whatever has befallen you. be careful, though, because not everything can be fixed within the institute's walls.

every town has the many stores and shops that line the streets. some are open twenty four seven, while others have strict hours. either way, get all your needs here.

a restaurant and bar in the middle of new york city. it is a surprisingly dull place from the outside, although the inside is more respectable. the food is rumored to be fantastic, and downworlders and shadowhunters mingle here.

the partiers around here have to have some outlet for their desire to dance and flirt about. the night clubs are scattered around town, but are always full of people.

a rather well known club, it is put in the spotlight due to it's nature. what is seemingly a normal night club is actually a meeting place for downworlders and mundanes. shadowhunters are often found patrolling here.

the bustling center of new york city, the big shabang. times square is always alight with people and lights of electric billboards and buildings.
